Marissa Joy, born on December 27, 2002 in the United States, is a YouTube Star known for her family-friendly life hack, challenge, and tutorial videos. She initially gained popularity through the collaborative channel MarissaAndBrookie with her younger sister Brookie before focusing on her own self-titled channel.

In January of 2017, Marissa and Brookie started their YouTube journey by uploading videos after setting up their channel on New Year’s Eve 2016. Their first video titled “Quick Braid Combo Hairstyles” marked the beginning of their content creation.

An important milestone for them was when their video “Blindfolded Cake Decorating Challenge | Prank” reached over 1 million views. As of now, their collective channels have amassed more than 380,000 subscribers.

Marissa has two other sisters and a brother; she is older than Brookie by more than three years.
