Maripily Rivera, born on June 15, 1977 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, is a Puerto Rican actress, model and television presenter. She is renowned for her work in Miente, No te duermas and Noches con Platanito. Known for starring in the reality show Famosas VIP and co-hosting Eso vale and No te duermas with Hector Marcano on Puerto Rico’s WAPA-TV. Before her fame, she graduated with a B.S. degree in journalism from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and briefly worked as a reporter for Univision.
In 1995, she began modeling by participating in the Miss Puerto Rico Petite pageant and was later a finalist in the 1999 Miss Puerto Rico Petite Pageant.
She opened Maripily Boutique fashion store which unfortunately burned down in 2007. In 2013, she launched her own fragrance line called MP by Maripily.
Born Maria del Pilar Rivera Borrero to parents Hector Rivera and Pilar Borrero. She has a son named Jose Antonio Garcia with Jose Antonio Garcia whom she married but later separated from. In 2013, there were plans to marry businessman Alberto Rodriguez that were eventually canceled
