About Marina Vernicos
Marina Vernicos (born November 19, 1976) is a Greek photographer known for her traveling shots. She has proclaimed to have travelled to over 126 different countries. In addition to her photography, she is the founder of the Marina Vernicos collection which sells swimwear, jewelry, bags, and phone cases often embracing the color blue. She also won first prize at the Global Art Awards in Dubai.
Vernicos studied Communications and Photography at Emerson College in Boston before pursuing Business Administration at Harvard’s Extension School. She began exhibiting her photos in galleries in 2001, and started sharing her travel photography through Instagram in August of 2012.
In addition to her work as a photographer and entrepreneur, Vernicos is known for being the founder and CEO of the Greek Haute Couture Collection Creaid Greece. Through this company, she has contributed towards building a playground for the Attikon University General Hospital.
