Marina Benedict is an American TV actress known for her roles in various television series. She was born on August 12, 1111, in the United States. Benedict is best known for playing Cherry in the Fox series Gotham and portraying A&W in the Fox series Prison Break. Another significant role was as Toni Cannava in the Starz series Flesh and Bone. Additionally, she had a lead role in the 2016 film Losing In Love.
Prior to her acting career, Benedict began performing at a young age – at seven, she acted with Peace Child’s International Touring Company and later attended a summer program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London when she turned 15. She further honed her craft by attending Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington.
In addition to her acting work, Benedict also ventured into music as the lead singer of BMG’s pop group 5 NY that toured throughout Europe. With this group, she released singles such as “Open Your Eyes” and “The Spirit.” Her diverse array of television appearances includes shows like Torchwood, Criminal Minds, Bones, Burn Notice and True Blood.
