About Marilia Gabriela
Marilia Gabriela, born on May 31, 1948 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is a prominent journalist, actress and singer. She gained national attention as a special reporter for the show Fantastico in 1973 following her coverage of Carmen Miranda’s death. Since then, she has appeared in various telenovelas including A Diarista, Chiquititas and Adnight.
Gabriela began her career as an intern at Rede Globo’s Jornal Nacional in 1969. Notably, in 1982 she released her debut album “Marilia Gabriela” and ventured into writing with the publication of her first book “What I Love Both” in 2008. Marilia Gabriela is also devoted to family life and has two children – Theodoro and Christiano Cochrane.
