Maria Pilar Leon, born on June 13, 1995, in Zaragoza, Spain, is a professional soccer player known for her defensive skills. She made a name for herself in Spain’s Primera Division during her time with Atletico Madrid from 2014 to 2017, contributing to the club’s victory in the 2017 Primera Division title.
Following her success at Atletico Madrid, Leon transferred to Liga F club Barcelona and went on to represent the Spanish national team. Prior to pursuing soccer professionally, she initially pursued a career in volleyball before making her pro debut with Prainsa Zaragoza B in 2009.
