Maria Elisa Camargo is an Ecuadorian actress, born on December 21, 1985, in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She is known for her role as Maria Alegria Pimiento in the Colombian telenovela La Marca del Deseo which she began starring in from 2007.
Before pursuing acting, Camargo studied economics at the University of the Andes in Colombia before deciding to follow her passion for performing.
