Maria de Medeiros is a Portuguese movie actress, born on August 19, 1965. She is well-known for her portrayal of Fabienne in the 1994 Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction and has also made notable appearances in My Life Without Me (2003) and 1871 (1990). In addition to her acting career, she is also a singer and has released albums such as A Little More Blue (2007) and Peninsulas & Continentes (2010).
Medeiros received training at the French National Academy of Dramatic Arts (CNSAD) before making her screen debut in the 1981 film Silvestre. Notably, she directed the historical film April Captains (2000).
Born to pianist and composer Antonio Victorino de Almeida in Portugal, Medeiros later married Agusti Camps and resided in France, Spain, and Brazil.
