Maria Cordero is a Chinese actress and pop singer, born on February 18, 1954 in Hong Kong. She gained recognition for her performances in Chinese films, often showcasing her musical talents. Her contribution to the 1988 film “Prison on Fire” earned her a nomination for Best Original Song at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
Cordero began working at the age of 14 as a movie theater usher and later ventured into music by learning to play bass guitar. She has also hosted the popular Cable TV baking reality series “Maria’s Kitchen” and appeared in the 2016 Hong Kong action comedy “From Vegas to Macau III.”
Tragically, Maria Cordero’s husband Rick passed away in November 2020; she has six children.
