Margot Bingham, born on August 20, 1988 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a movie actress known for her career in both the TV and film industries. She gained widespread prominence for her role as jazz singer Daughter Maitland in the HBO period drama series Boardwalk Empire. In 2016, she appeared as Bree in the film Barbershop: The Next Cut.
Following her high school graduation in 2010, she moved to New York City to pursue acting and began appearing on stage, including in the 2011 revival of the musical Rent. In 2014, she was cast in the recurring role of Billie on the El Rey series Matador. In that same year she was cast as a series regular Sergeant Nina Meyer on ABC’s The Family alongside Joan Allen.
