Margaret Wilson Feet
Margaret Wilson was a twentieth-century American novelist, born in Iowa on January 16, 1882. Prior to her successful career as a writer, she served as a missionary for the United Presbyterian Church of North America.
Wilson is best known for her novels “The Able McLaughlins,” “The Kenworthys,” “The Painted Room,” and “The Law and The McLaughlins.” Her literary achievements were recognized with the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction awarded to her novel, The Able McLaughlins.
In 1923, Margaret Wilson married George Douglas Turner.
