About Margaret Pomeranz
Margaret Pomeranz is an Australian TV show host best known for co-hosting the film review program, The Movie Show, and later appearing on At the Movies. She also made cameo appearances on Australian comedy series such as Pizza and Full Frontal.
Prior to her career in television, Pomeranz studied at Macquarie University in New South Wales, Australia, before entering the playwriting program at the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
She is known for her activism against arts censorship and gained attention when she was briefly taken into police custody after arriving at a 2003 screening of a banned film called Ken Park.
Born Margaret Anne Jones-Owen in Sydney, Australia, she married Hans Pomeranz and has two children.
