About Marcia Jones
Marcia Jones is a children’s author known for her work on books such as “Godzilla Ate My Homework” and “Leprechaun on the Loose.” She was born in Joliet, Illinois on July 15, 1968. Before pursuing a career in writing, she taught elementary school and studied at Georgetown College and the University of Kentucky.
Perhaps her most famous work to date is the co-written Scholastic series titled “The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids.” In 2000, her book “Godzilla Ate My Homework” was shortlisted for an Elementary Library Book Award.
Jones currently resides in Lexington, Kentucky with her husband Stephen and their two adopted cats named Calli and Coco.
