About Marcella Arguello
Marcella Arguello is a stand-up comedian and sketch artist known for her national television debut on Last Call with Carson Daly. Born in Modesto, California on August 14, 1985, she has made appearances on various comedy platforms including Comedy Central, Viceland’s Flophouse, The Nerdiest Podcast, Funny or Die and The Don Geronimo Show.
Prior to her comedy career, Arguello originally aspired to become an elementary teacher but later moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy. She was awarded the Modesto Area Music Award (MAMA) for Best Comedian in 2009 and was recognized as one of TIME.com’s Brightest Young Things.
Growing up at Johansen High School in California, Arguello was active in school theater and gained a reputation as the class clown.
