About Manjit Minhas
Manjit Minhas, born on May 31, 1980 in Canada, is a renowned entrepreneur and reality star. She gained fame after appearing in the tenth season of the Canadian series Dragons’ Den. Minhas is widely recognized as the co-founder and CEO of Minhas Breweries & Distillery, being a trailblazer in her field. Her remarkable achievements have led her to be named one of the Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs in Canada.
Before rising to prominence, Minhas and her brother Ravinder first entered into the alcohol industry while pursuing engineering degrees at the University of Calgary. Their journey commenced with importing private label spirits to their parents’ chain of liquor stores. Subsequently, they established the Minhas Craft Brewery and Minhas Distillery in Monroe, Wisconsin along with The Minhas Brewery in Calgary, Alberta.
In 2008, she collaborated with her brother on releasing the book “Brewing Up a Damn Good Story,” chronicling their entrepreneurial endeavors.
Minhas was born and raised in Calgary alongside her brother Ravinder and their parents. Currently married to Harvey Shergill , she is a proud mother of two daughters.
