Mandira Bedi, born on April 15, 1972 in India, is an Indian TV actress known for her breakthrough role in the soap opera “Shanti.” She went on to appear in popular television series such as “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” and “Aurat,” and also hosted various sports and entertainment-themed broadcasts.
Prior to her fame, she completed her undergraduate degree in economics at St. Xaviers College, Mumbai before pursuing a graduate program in media studies at Sophia Polytechnic University. In addition to acting and hosting, Bedi is also a fashion designer who launched a collection called Saree in 2014.
Bedi’s personal life includes her marriage to director and producer Raj Kaushal with whom she has a son named Vir.
