Manami Oku, born on November 22, 1995, in Japan, is a pop singer known for her membership in the Japanese girl group AKB48. She gained fame through her hit solo single “Katatsumuri.” Oku joined AKB48’s Team K at the age of ten and later became a member of the band’s Team B at thirteen.
In early 2011, she decided to leave AKB48 to focus on her studies rather than pursuing her music career further. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Manami Oku has partial Italian heritage.
