Mamrie Hart was born on September 22, 1983 in Andover, North Carolina. She is a well-known YouTube star, actress, comedienne and writer who gained fame through her YouTube channel You Deserve A Drink, which has garnered over 1 million subscribers. In addition to her online success, she has also appeared in TV commercials for La-Z Boy. In 2014, Hart received a Streamy Award for Best Actress in a Comedy for her work on You Deserve A Drink.
Before rising to prominence as an online personality, Hart studied theatre at the University of North Carolina. She honed her comedic skills by performing sketch comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and co-founded a comedy band called Cudzoo and the Faggettes. Additionally, Hart co-owns a unique vacation rental home located in Palm Springs, California.
Hart’s family hails from Boonville, North Carolina but she relocated to New York City after completing college. Her father is actor David Hart and she has a brother named David and a sister named Annie.
