She was born on November 14, 1896, in Boone, Iowa.
Prior to meeting Dwight D. Eisenhower, she attended Miss Wolcott’s finishing school.
She was named after the popular love song “Lovely Lake Geneva”.
In 1916, Mamie married Dwight D. Eisenhower and together they had two sons.
