Malandra Burrows is an English actress and singer, born on November 4, 1965. She is best known for her role as Kathy Glover on the long-running British soap opera, Emmerdale.
Burrows began her career by studying dance at a young age under the encouragement of her mother. In 1974, she gained recognition by winning the TV talent show New Faces, becoming its youngest winner at that time.
Aside from her acting career, Burrows also found success in music with her pop single “Just This Side of Love,” which reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart in 1990.
She took on the combination of her parents’ names – Malcolm and Sandra – to form hers.
