About Maja Sly
Maja Sly (born July 23, 1972 in Panama City, Florida) is an entrepreneur and beauty aficionado, best known for her role on the We TV reality show Cutting It In the ATL. The show follows her work with her businesses Walk-in-Weaves and the Pretty Hair brand located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Before gaining fame on television, Sly started her first business at just ten years old. She then received training from her uncle who was a hair stylist by profession. Through dedication and hard work, she built a career in hairstyling that began in college and eventually led to owning multiple successful businesses.
Aside from being a reality star, Maja Sly has also delved into designing planners available on her website as well as offering business coaching and mentoring through her program called Pretty Powerful University. She credits much of this success to the influence of her uncle Vallard Anderson who passed down his knowledge of weaves and hair extensions to her.
