About Maddy Rae Cooper
Maddy Rae Cooper is an American actress known for her role as Irish farm girl O’Doyle in the series Video Game High School. She has also appeared in other series such as Finding Carter, Spy Time and Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural, as well as in the 2016 film The 5th Wave, the 2015 television movie Quarantine, and the 2014 film Prosper.
Before her acting career took off, Cooper began riding horses at the age of seven and spent her childhood competing in hunter and jumper events. In 2007, she won both the Georgia Hunter/Jumper Association J.D. Pounds Medal Final and the Junior Equitation Challenge on her favorite horse, Waffle.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Cooper practices Brazilian martial art Capoeira and specializes in the acrobatic art of aerial silks.
Cooper comes from a family with Scandinavian and English heritage; she is also related to actor Blake Cooper. She contracted Lyme Disease in 2009 which forced her to give up riding for two years but led to a newfound passion for acting that propelled her into success on screen.
