Lynnette Hardaway, born on November 25, 1971, in Raeford, North Carolina, was an activist and right-wing commentator who gained fame as one half of the political duo Diamond and Silk alongside her sister Rochelle Richardson. The pair garnered attention for their support of Donald Trump during his presidential campaign.
Before gaining prominence as Diamond and Silk, Lynnette and her sister began to attract followers within conservative circles. Their popularity continued to grow throughout the 2016 election campaign.
In addition to their online presence with more than 340,000 subscribers on YouTube, Lynnette and her sister made regular appearances on Fox News shows. In November 2018, they were given a show on Fox Nation, the online streaming service from Fox News.
Lynnette’s parents are televangelist pastors Freeman Hardaway and Betty Willis Hardaway. She tragically passed away in January 2023. Her death was confirmed by Diamond and Silk’s Facebook page which stated: “The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity!”.
