About Lynn Shelton
Lynn Shelton (August 2, 1965 – May 16, 2020) was an American writer, director and actress. She is best known for her work on the films Humpday (2009) and Your Sister’s Sister (2011).
Shelton completed her undergraduate studies at Oberlin College in her birthplace of Oberlin, Ohio. Outside of her film work, she also directed episodes for TV series including The Good Place and New Girl.
Shelton married actor Kevin Seal with whom she had a son named Milo before they separated. Following their separation, she was in a relationship with comedian Marc Maron until her sudden passing in May 2020 due to complications from an undiagnosed blood disorder.
