Luma Elpidio, born on September 6, 1995 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a gospel pop singer known for her hit songs “What Love Is That?”, “Oh Minh’Alma” and “Who Are You To Me?”. She gained recognition through her self-titled YouTube channel where she uploaded original songs. With 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube and 950,000 Instagram followers.
Elpidio began composing her own music at the age of 13 which eventually led to her independently produced album “Liberta Me De Me”. Her original song “I Love You”, posted on YouTube has garnered over 70 million views since its upload in December 2017.
She comes from a family of musicians; her father is Henrique Elpidio and she has a younger brother named Joao Henrique Elpidio.<
