About LuLu Hassan
Lulu Hassan is a Kenyan journalist, news anchor and producer born on April 24, 1984, in Mombasa, Kenya. She is known as the CEO of Jiffy Pictures and is fluent in Swahili.
Hassan gained recognition for co-hosting the Nipashe Wikendi news bulletin on Citizen TV alongside Rashid Abdalla. In 2022, she was crowned Mwanamke Wa Shoka (Woman of Inspiration) in East Africa at the Mwanamke wa Shoka awards.
Before her journalism career, she attended Aga Khan Academy and worked in the travel industry after completing her studies. She began her broadcasting career as a radio broadcaster at Radio Salaam in Mombasa before being hired by KTN Television as a news anchor.
In 2009, Lulu Hassan married fellow journalist Rashid Abdalla.
