About Ludwika Paleta
Ludwika Paleta is a Polish-born actress known for her work in Mexican telenovelas. She gained fame for her role as Maria Joaquina Villasenor in the 1980s series Carrusel, and later won acclaim for her performance in Maria la del Barrio. Born to Polish musician Zbigniew Paleta, Ludwika spent much of her childhood in Mexico, where her father composed music for telenovelas. In addition to her television work, she has also appeared in the Televisa series Palabra De Mujer.
Paleta was previously married to actor Plutarco Haza and they have a son named Nicolas. Later she married Emiliano Salinas, the son of former Mexican President Carlos Salinas de Gortari.
