About Lucy Worsley
Lucy Worsley is an English novelist, born on December 18, 1973. She is well-known for hosting history-themed television programs such as Inside the World of Henry VIII and If Walls Could Talk. In addition to her television work, she has authored several publications including The Secret History of Kensington Palace (2011) and A Very British Murder: The Story of a National Obsession (2014).
Prior to her career in television and writing, Worsley obtained an honors bachelor’s degree in history from New College at Oxford University. Notably, she also served as Chief Curator of Historic Royal Palaces.
Worsley was raised in Reading, Berkshire, England by her geology professor father and educational consultant mother. She married architect Mark Hines in late 2011.
