Lucy Luna, born on January 10th, 1990 in Morelia, Mexico, is a screenwriter known for her work in the film industry. She began her journey into the world of storytelling at an early age and honed her skills through various forms of artistic expression.
Luna’s passion for writing emerged during childhood when she started crafting short horror stories at the age of 10. Her fascination with filmmaking blossomed by the time she turned 15. This early intrigue with narrative development and visual storytelling set the stage for her future endeavors as a screenwriter.
Throughout her career, Lucy pursued formal training to refine her craft. She enrolled in a Screenwriting Conservatory program at New York Film Academy and commenced intensive study under distinguished mentors such as Syd Field, Robert McKee, Linda Seger, Michael Hauge, and John Truby. These experiences played a pivotal role in shaping Luna’s approach to storytelling and significantly contributed to her growth as a professional screenwriter.
Prior to delving into screenwriting full-time, Lucy Luna embraced diverse artistic disciplines. At the tender age of five, she embarked on ballet training before later exploring acting opportunities from the age of eight. These early creative pursuits helped cultivate Luna’s understanding of performance artistry and enriched her ability to develop compelling characters within screenplays.
