Lucy Lawless, born on March 29, 1968 in Mount Albert, New Zealand, is a renowned TV actress. She gained fame for her portrayal of Xena: Warrior Princess and also appeared as Lucretia in the series Spartacus: Blood and Sand, its sequel, and its prequel. In addition to these roles, she took on the character of Countess Marburg in the WGN series Salem from 2015 onwards. Lawless also had a part in the Disney film Bedtime Stories.
Prior to her acting career taking off, Lawless began honing her skills in secondary school and performed in her first musical at age 10.
A trivia tidbit about Lucy Lawless is that Hercules was her love interest on Xena: Warrior Princess. In terms of family life, she married Garth Lawless in 1988 and they welcomed their daughter later that year. After their divorce, Lucy tied the knot with Robert Tapert in 1998; together they have two sons.
