About Lucinda Southworth
Lucinda Southworth, born on May 24, 1979 in the United States, is known as the wife of Google co-founder Larry Page. She is recognized for her extensive education and for being an activist and philanthropist. Southworth has been involved in medical work across South Africa and has contributed a significant amount of funding to combat the Ebola virus in West Africa through her foundation, the Carl Victor Page Memorial Fund.
Prior to gaining fame, she attended the University of Pennsylvania followed by the University of Oxford where she earned a Master’s degree in Science. Later on, she pursued her PhD from Stanford University in biomedical informatics. It was during this time that she began dating Larry Page in 2006.
Southworth has made numerous public appearances alongside her husband at various gatherings and events including a dinner for Vanity Fair editor Edward Graydon Carter as well as post-Oscar parties hosted by Vanity Fair.
In terms of family life, Lucinda’s father was Dr. Van Roy Southworth who held a PhD from Stanford University while her mother was Dr. Cathy McLain who worked as an educational psychologist. In December of 2007, she married Larry Page on Richard Branson’s Necker Island and together they have two children.
