Lucille Starr, born on May 13, 1938 in Canada, is a renowned Canadian country singer and yodeler. She gained fame with the release of her hit single “Quand Le Soleil Dit Bonjour Aux Montagnes” in 1964.
Prior to her music career, she honed her musical skills by mastering guitar, mandolin, and bass while being part of the music group Les Hirondelles.
An interesting fact about Lucille Starr is that there is a street in Coquitlam, British Columbia named Lucille Starr Way in tribute to her and her successful career. Additionally, she was married to Bob Regan with whom she formed a singing duo from 1958 to 1963.
