Lucie Pohl, born on April 15, 1983 in Hamburg, Germany, is a renowned voice actress and stand-up comedian. She is best known for her role as the beloved winged character Mercy in the popular multiplayer game Overwatch. Pohl has also made appearances in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Homeland.
Pohl’s career began with her first screen credit in the 2000 short film Allerd Fishbein’s in Love. She later made her feature debut as Ophelia in 2003’s Hamlet_X.
In 2006, she portrayed Vanessa in the German television series Freunde fur immer – Das Leben ist rund.
Pohl comes from a family deeply involved in the arts; her mother Sanda Weigl is a theatre director and singer while her father Klaus Pohl is an actor and dramatist. Her sister Marie pursues writing as a profession.
