Lotta Schelin is a Swedish soccer player born on February 27, 1984. She has represented Sweden at major soccer events such as the Summer Olympics and FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Schelin received the Diamond Ball award as Sweden’s best female soccer player five times from 2006 to 2014. Before her soccer career took off, she excelled in sports like snowboarding, table tennis, and track and field.
In October 2014, Schelin scored a national record of 73 goals for Sweden. Her older sister is Camilla Schelin, who is also a soccer player and was Lotta’s teammate at Kallereds SK.
