About Loryn Powell
Loryn Powell was born on February 25, 1987 in Virginia and is known for her work as a writer, comedian and producer at Game Show Network’s Door3. She co-created the web series Calling In Drunk and has contributed as a writer to various series including Toplist, Photobomb, 4 Facts 1 Lie, skin Wars: Naked Truth and Dirty Mind Challenge.
Powell studied screenwriting at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill before embarking on her career in comedy. She also runs a blog called The Unfortunate Comedy of Loryn Powell where she shares her written works and illustrations. Interestingly, during her time at UNC she started collecting traffic cones.
In September 2015, Powell married Shawn Casey; they announced their first child was expected in June 2023.
