About Lorraine Warren
Lorraine Warren (born January 31, 1927) is an American clairvoyant and psychic medium known for her paranormal investigations conducted with her husband Ed Warren. Their most prominent investigation was the Amityville haunting on Long Island.
Prior to gaining fame for their work, one of their first paranormal investigations was in Rhode Island, which provided inspiration for the 2013 film The Conjuring.
Warren also opened a private occult museum, operating it out of her home in Connecticut.
She and Ed had a daughter named Judy and together they founded the New England Society for Psychic Research in 1952. They were married until his death in 2006.
