About Lorena Meritano
Lorena Meritano is an award-winning television actress known for her work in leading dramas such as La mujer de mi vida and Passions of the Heart. Born on September 30, 1970, in Concordia, Argentina, she has also appeared in feature films like Bano de Damas and A Ton of Luck.
Before gaining fame as an actress, Meritano pursued a modeling career in Italy before returning to Argentina to study acting. She made her acting debut in the 1993 Mexican telenovela Prisionera de amor.
Meritano has received Palmas de Oro Awards for her roles in Prisionera de amor, Escandalo, and Scandal. Her parents are Adela Gelfenben and Enrique Meritano. She was previously involved with producer Juan Maldonado before marrying Ernesto Calzadilla in 2013.
