Lola Albright was an American movie actress known for her role as Edie Hart in the television series “Peter Gunn.” She was born on July 20, 1925, in Akron, Ohio.
Prior to becoming an actress, she worked as a switchboard operator at a local radio station and took on several minor acting roles. Her big break came when she landed the role of Edie Hart in “Peter Gunn” and starred in the 1962 film “Kid Galahad.”
Albright also showcased her singing talents in some of her best-known film roles and even released an album titled “Lola Wants You.” In addition to her work on screen, she appeared in the western film “The Way West.”
Her personal life included a marriage to Craig Stevens, who was also her co-star on “Peter Gunn.”
