About Lizzy Plapinger
Lizzy Plapinger, born on May 8, 1988 in London, England, is a rock singer known for her work as one half of the alternative duo MS MR alongside music producer Max Hershenow. The band gained popularity after their song “Bones” was featured on the season three trailer for hit HBO series Game of Thrones.
Before her musical career took off, Plapinger graduated from Vassar College in 2010 alongside MS MR partner Max and a year later they released their first EP Ghost City USA.
Aside from her work in MS MR, she is also a co-founder behind the New York and London based independent record label Neon Gold Records.
Plapinger’s family has its roots in London where she was born.
