About Liz Sheridan
Liz Sheridan (born April 10, 1929) is an American TV actress best known for her role as Helen Seinfeld on the popular NBC sitcom Seinfeld. She also gained recognition for portraying Raquel Ochmonek in the 1980s hit comedy series ALF, amassing over 80 on-screen acting credits throughout her career.
Before finding fame in television, Sheridan began her entertainment career as a dancer and made her first major acting appearance in the 1976 Broadway production of Best Friend.
In addition to her television work, she appeared alongside Marla Sokoloff and Andy Griffith in the romantic comedy film Play the Game in 2009. Her final film, titled Trim, was released in 2010.
Born in New York City to Elizabeth Poole-Jones and Frank Sheridan, Liz spent her childhood there. She was married to William Wales from 1985 until his death in 2003; they had one daughter.
