About Liv Stromquist
Liv Strömquist, born on February 3, 1978, in Lund, Sweden, is a comic book artist known for her thought-provoking work that frequently addresses feminism and left-wing politics. Her notable works include “Kunskapens Frukt” (2014). Alongside her comic book illustrations, Strömquist has been involved with satirical radio programs such as “Tankesmedjan” and “Pang Prego.” Before gaining fame as an artist, she grew up in Osterlen in southern Sweden and began drawing comics at the age of 23.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Strömquist designed the cover for The Knife’s album “Shaking the Habitual” (2013) and created a comic strip for the band’s website. She has also been romantically linked to comedian Ola Söderholm and is a mother of two sons from a previous relationship.
