About Lissa Price
Lissa Price is a Young Adult Author and screenwriter known for her work with Jim Henson Productions. She has authored novels such as 2012’s Enders and Starters, as well as Portrait of a Starter and Portrait of a Marshal, both short novels set in the world of Starters. Lissa has also been featured on panels at various literary festivals including the LA Times Festival of Books, ComicCon, WonderCon, WorldCon, Wordstock, and the Boston Book Festival.
Before gaining fame as an author, Lissa began writing at the age of eight. She has since traveled extensively around the world; experiences include walking with elephants in Botswana, swimming with penguins in the Galapagos Islands, and visiting nomads in India. Additionally she has taught workshops at prominent organizations such as the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators along with the La Jolla Writer’s Conference.
