Lisa Trusel, born on October 25, 1968 in California, is an American actress known for her role as Melissa Horton on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives. She portrayed the character from 1983 to 1988 and made several brief reprisals in subsequent years.
Trusel made her television debut in 1981 on the western series Father Murphy and went on to play Lizette Winkler in over thirty episodes of the popular show before landing her iconic role on Days of Our Lives.
In addition to her work on soap operas, she appeared in four episodes of TV 101 in 1989. Trusel has been married to fellow Days of Our Lives cast member David Wallace and they have children named Ryan Elizabeth, Benjamin, Emma, and Joseph.
