About Lisa Surihani
Lisa Surihani (born March 23, 1986) is a Malaysian actress known for her roles in the films Sekali Lagi and Goodbye Boys. She is also a stage performer, having appeared in a 2012 Kuala Lumpur production of the play Teater Tun Siti Hasmah. In 2017, she was named the Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF Malaysia.
Before pursuing acting, Lisa studied law at Help University College and Aberystwyth University. She also hosted several Malaysian television programs including Mari Menari and X-Fresh TV.
She grew up in Kuala Lumpur in a family of Chinese and Buginese descent. In 2012, she married Malaysian pop star-turned movie director Yusry Abdul Halim. They welcomed their daughter Yahaira Leanne in 2015.
