Lisa Scott-Lee is a pop singer born on November 5, 1975 in Rhyl, Wales. She is best known as a member of the British pop group Steps, which produced hits such as “Love’s Got a Hold on My Heart” and “One for Sorrow.” Scott-Lee was one of the founding members of Steps in 1997 and played a key role in recruiting its final members.
Following the disbandment of Steps, Scott-Lee embarked on a successful solo career, releasing several top forty singles and hosting her own reality show on MTV U.K. She later married musician Johnny Shentall (formerly with Boom) and together they had two children: son Jayden in 2008 and daughter Lily in 2009.
