Lisa Salters (born March 6, 1966) is an American journalist known for her work with ESPN and ABC. She was born in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
Prior to her career in journalism, Salters played college basketball at Pennsylvania State University during the 1986-1987 academic year. It was during this time that she began to develop an interest in sports reporting.
Salters gained widespread recognition for her coverage of the O.J. Simpson murder trial while working as a reporter for ABC News.
Aside from her professional accomplishments, Salters is also known for being the cousin of former Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Dorsett.
She currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland where she has adopted a son named Samuel.
