About Lisa Kytosaho
Lisa Kytosaho (born December 12, 1992) is a Swedish conservationist known for her work in cheetah rehabilitation and wildlife conservation. She currently serves as the head of Western Cape Cheetah Conservation and has gained recognition for sharing photos of the animals she cares for through Instagram, where she has amassed over 450,000 followers.
Prior to her career in conservation, Kytosaho pursued studies in animal care in Sweden before relocating to South Africa in 2010 to work with rehabilitating African wildlife at a sanctuary. It was there that she began documenting her experiences raising 16 cheetahs on Instagram starting in April of 2012.
In addition to her direct involvement with wildlife, Kytosaho also runs a Go Fund Me page aiming to raise funds for building a Cheetah Release site due to the declining habitat remaining for these animals.
Although born in Stockholm, Sweden, Kytosaho eventually made Cape Town, South Africa her home.
