Lisa Jakub, born on December 27, 1978 in Toronto, Canada, is a former movie actress known for her roles in Independence Day and Mrs. Doubtfire during her childhood years. She made her first screen appearance in the 1985 film Eleni alongside John Malkovich.
Although she had a promising career as an actress, Jakub chose to leave the entertainment industry to pursue writing. Her autobiographical book You Look Like That Girl provides insight into her experiences as a child actress.
