Lisa Faulkner, born on February 19, 1972 in England, is a well-known TV show host. She gained fame as the host of the British television culinary program What’s Cooking? From the Sainsbury’s Kitchen. In addition to her hosting duties, she is also recognized as an actress with credits including New Street Law, Murder in Suburbia, Burn It, Dangerfield and Holby City.
Prior to her career success, Faulkner faced personal tragedy when she lost her mother to cancer during her mid-teens. She began modeling and made her screen acting debut in The Lover at age twenty.
In 2010, Faulkner emerged as the champion of the Celebrity Masterchef reality cooking contest. Her personal life has seen its share of ups and downs – she adopted a daughter with then-husband Chris Coghill before their divorce in 2011.
