Lisa Curry is an Australian former swimmer who was born on May 15, 1962, in Brisbane, Australia. She became one of the country’s most decorated swimmers, winning a total of 15 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze medals during her career.
After retiring from swimming, she transitioned into television and has appeared as a contestant on reality shows such as The Celebrity Apprentice Australia and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.
By the age of 12, Lisa Curry had already established herself as one of the fastest swimmers in her age group worldwide. Additionally, she made history by becoming the first Australian swimmer to hold Commonwealth and Australian records in every stroke except backstroke.
Lisa Curry was married to famed Australian Ironman Grant Kenny from 1986 until their separation in 2017.
